Our School
Our primary goal is to encourage and foster the growth of the whole child; therefore, our curriculum addresses all areas of emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development in a stimulating, playful environment.
A typical day for our classes begins with a meeting, where the children discuss the day and date and the weather. Mrs. S. and the child who is the helper for the day lead the class in a math activity with Barkley, the class dog. The teachers then explain the day's theme and activities. The children are then free to move about the various Learning Centers. Each day also includes snack time, outdoor play, and lunch for the Pre-Kindergarten class. The day usually ends with a story read by Mrs. S.
